Visiting the website
The website is operated on servers in Switzerland, either by us or by a service provider acting on our behalf.
When you access the website, the server logs the following information:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- address requested
- technical details of the connection (e.g. status code, amount of data transferred)
No information about your browser or device is stored. The logs serve the secure and stable operation of the website and the analysis of errors. We do not evaluate them for any other purpose or combine them with other data. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
No cookies, no tracking
The website does not use cookies or any analytics, tracking or advertising services. It does not embed any third-party content: fonts, images and all other components are loaded from our own server.
Contact form and email
If you write to us using the contact form, we process the information you enter: name, email address and message and, if provided, company and phone number. If you email us directly, we process your email address and the content of your message.
We use this information solely to answer your enquiry. The form does not store it on the website. Your message is delivered via an email service provider in Switzerland to our mailbox at Microsoft 365 (see “Transfers abroad”).
Providing this information is voluntary. Without your name, email address and message, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. The legal basis under the GDPR is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Transfers abroad
For email we use Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. Data may be processed in the EU and in the USA. Switzerland and the EU recognise an adequate level of data protection in the USA where the recipient is certified under the Data Privacy Framework. Microsoft is certified under this framework (Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
Disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose your data to anyone other than the recipients named in this privacy policy, unless we are required to do so by law. We do not sell any data.
Retention
Server logs are continuously and automatically overwritten. We keep enquiries for as long as is necessary to handle them and for any follow-up correspondence, or as required by statutory retention obligations. Data may be contained in server backups until those backups are deleted.
Data security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The connection to the website is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to the administration of the website is restricted to a small number of authorised persons. However, no one can guarantee complete security of data transmission over the internet.
Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable data protection law, you have in particular the right to:
- information on whether and which personal data we process about you
- rectification of inaccurate data
- erasure of your data, unless a retention obligation applies
- restriction of processing
- object to the processing
- receive your data or have it transferred
To exercise these rights, please contact info@recosol.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
